The three household waste recycling centres across Wrexham are to temporarily close.

Wrexham Council confirmed the change in its daily update on how coronavirus is affecting local services.

The Plas Madoc site closed yesterday, and Bryn Lane and Brymbo will close by 4pm on Friday 3rd April.

In a joint statement Chief Executive Ian Bancroft and Council Leader Mark Pritchard, said that the closures were taking place in line with the UK Government’s guidance on essential travel.

The sites could close sooner than Friday if they become too busy.
