Telephone answering specialist Moneypenny topped off a remarkable week by scooping 4th position in the Sunday Times’ list of the best `mid-sized’ companies to work for in the UK.

Only days after announcing the company’s launch into the United States, Moneypenny is celebrating again with its highest ever placing in the prestigious `100 Best Companies to Work For’ listings, amid stiff competition in the middle category, which is for those businesses with between 250 and 3,499 employees.

In addition to the top five placing, it is the third time Moneypenny has received a three star accreditation – only given to those companies deemed `extraordinary’.

Moneypenny scored top marks in 12 categories in the 2015 Best Companies employee survey. The company was number one in four categories – `Most Exciting Future’, `Most Fun at Work’, `Most Inspiring Leaders’ and `Best for Fair Pay’ and number two for `Company Pride’, `Giving Something Back’ `Clearest Expectations’ and `Best for Job Security’.

Co-founder and Director, Rachel Clacher, who received the award with four other representatives from the company at the celebration event at Battersea Evolution in London is delighted. She said: “It’s been a big year for us in so many different ways and it is a great thrill to receive this award, especially as this is the first time we have been in amongst the highly impressive companies in the `mid-size’ category.

“Our business is all about employing the right people, making sure they are completely engaged and then keeping everyone happy for the long term. That’s ultimately seen in the quality of our service. We know that great people make for happy clients which results in extraordinary business growth.”

Moneypenny PA, Hannah Pawley, who answers calls for estate agents as a member of the company’s specialist property team, was chosen at random to attend the awards event. She adds: “It is fantastic to be recognised by the Sunday Times as a best company in the UK to work for. There’s a genuinely lovely feel within the business and we do all kinds of fun things together through the year. Moneypenny is an exciting place to be and I know everyone will be thrilled with this award.”
