A bingo caller from Wrexham is in the running for the title of Mecca’s ‘Host of the Year’.

Jason Davies made the final five after a nationwide search to find the best bingo caller and is now looking for your votes to make it to the next round.

If successful Jason will then be shortlisted into the National Bingo Caller of the Year 2019 competition.

He has been a caller at Mecca Wrexham for two years and thinks that his unique way of incorporating Welsh phrases into his calling makes him the very best.

After narrowing it down from hundreds of great callers, Jason made the final five for Mecca Bingo Wrexham.

Mike Etherington, general manager at Mecca Bingo Wrexham, said: “We are very excited here at Mecca Bingo to have Jason make the final five out of everyone in Britain.

“We’d love local support to vote for Jason and see him being crowned the ‘Host of the Year’ and maybe even the National Bingo Game Caller of the Year 2019.’’

You have until September 27th to vote for your favourite club caller. You can cast your vote and take part on the Mecca Bingo Facebook page
