‘Work ongoing’ to tackle anti social motorbike riding in Offa area
Police have said work is ongoing to stop anti-social motorbike riding, with several complaints locally about noisey riders.
Offa Community Council have said: “Our Clerk has been in touch with the Police regarding anti-social motorbike riding in the Offa area.”
“They have advised that work is ongoing and that there is also an Operation being planned to tackle this.
“The Police requested that anyone experiencing further issues report it using 101”
In what could be an unrelated motorbike / scooter issue, there have been several reports of a noisey bike in the town centre – part of which the Offa ward covers, including a few tweets embedded below:
@wrexham does anyone know if you can call 101/appropriate services for the moped guy who constantly rides round town, driving us MAD ?! 😂

I’ve been at 2 separate events this week, one poetry performance, which he interrupted, and one event where he managed to be so loud, 20 people stopped talking because they couldn’t hear. Hate to moan but there’s no consideration.
