Woman Taken To Hospital After Being Hit By A Car In Southsea
A woman has been taken to hospital following a collision with a car this afternoon.
The incident took place on Southsea Road at around 2:55pm this afternoon and involved a pedestrian and a car.
Traffic between Bryn Hedd and Forge Road was diverted away from the area by North Wales Police, however both roads had reopened and were cleared by 3:45pm.
A spokesperson for North Wales Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 2.51pm to reports a car had collided with a pedestrian on Southsea Road in Wrexham.
“We responded with an emergency ambulance, and a woman in her 50s with serious injuries was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.”
It is not yet known the extent of the woman’s injuries.
