Woman Hospitalised Following Late Night RTC in Caergwrle

A woman has been hospitalised following a crash in Caergwrle late last night.

Emergency services were called to Hawarden Road, Caergwrle shortly before 9:30pm on Sunday evening following reports of a single vehicle collision.

A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service to Wrexham.com last night that two crews from Wrexham attended the scene and that one person was cut free from the vehicle.

The road reopened just before 10:40pm.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at about 9.20pm on Sunday 21st August to reports of a road traffic collision in Caergwrle.

“An emergency ambulance attended the scene and a woman was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”
