Woman dies after sustaining serious injuries in a crash in Bronington

A woman involved in a collision involving a car and a horse in the county borough earlier this week has died.

The collision in the Bronington area, which involved a BMW X3, a Daihatsu Sirion and a horse, happened at about 7.31pm on Tuesday 19th February, on the A495 at Bronington near Whitchurch.

The woman, who was a passenger of the X3 was taken to hospital in Stoke, but sadly she died during the early hours of this morning.

North Wales Police are now renewing its appeal for information following the incident.

Sergeant Leigh Evans of the Roads Policing Unit said: “We send our condolences to the woman’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

“The investigation is still ongoing and we are grateful to those witnesses who have contacted us so far. We continue to appeal for information and are keen on speaking to anybody who may have been travelling along the A495 and who may have dash cam footage to contact us.”
