Witness Appeal After Serious RTC Leaves Motorcyclist With ‘Life Changing Injuries’

A motorcyclist has received ‘life changing’ injuries following a serious collision near Bryneglwys this afternoon.

The collision, which involved a motorcycle and a BMW car happened just before 1pm today, Monday 29th August, on the A5104 Bryneglwys to Corwen road.

As a result of the collision the A5105 was closed for almost four hours while emergency services attended the scene, with the road reopening shortly before 5pm.

The motorcyclist was flown to Stoke Hospital with injuries which are described as being life changing.

North Wales Police are now appealing for witnesses to the collision to come forward.

Sgt Trystan Bevan said: “We are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a dark coloured vehicle which was overtaken by an orange motorbike prior to the collision.”
