Witches, wizards and muggles alike will have the chance to journey from the cupboard under the stairs and into the magical world of Harry Potter tomorrow afternoon.

To celebrate JK Rowling’s iconic film and book series, Wrexham Library will host what is set to be its biggest ‘Harry Potter Book Night’ ever on Thursday 7th February.

During the witches and wizards will have the change to visit Harry’s bedroom under the cupboard under the stairs and have their photo taken in the Great Hall and Professor Dumbledore’s office!

Are you a hard-working and loyal Hufflepuff, an intelligent and creative Ravenclaw, a cunning and ambitious Slytherin or a brave and courageous Gryffindor? New students won’t have to wait until the start of the new term be sorted into their Hogwarts house, with visitors having the chance to find out tomorrow.

Other activities taking place include a new treasure hunt, Harry Potter themed games – including ‘Snitch Pong’, fancy dress competition, design a house crest competition and the return of the popular wand raffle.

There will also be a Waterstones stall selling Harry Potter goodies.

The event, which is free of charge, will take place between 3pm and 6pm tomorrow afternoon.

All ages / magical abilities / muggles are welcome; children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
