Local businesses are being invited to take part in a window display competition for this year’s St David’s Day celebrations.

Organised by Menter Iaith Fflint a Wrecsam shops and businesses across the area can take part in the competition, which will celebrate all things Welsh.

Judging of the competition will take place on February 23rd, with the winning display winning a prize.

Anyone interested in taking place in the window dressing competition should contact Menter Iaith Fflint a Wrecsam on [email protected] or on 01352 744040 by Monday 12th February.

Details of the annual parade through the town centre have also been announced – with the streets of Wrexham due to be transformed into ‘a sea of celebrations’ on Thursday 1st March.

Taking place between 1pm and 2pm the parade will go through the town centre before ending at Queens Square where plenty of singing has been promised!
