Further training and employment opportunities at the North Wales Prison have been announced.

Window Company Caledonian will be working on the prison site from next month and are looking to recruit ten people to work for them. The jobs are being advertised through Jobcentreplus only.

Caledonian is responsible for installing all cell windows at the prison, which will mean candidates will have to use power tools and work at height.

As part of the selection process a specially tailored course has been organised to run from 22-26 February, designed to cover aspects of employability, interview techniques, towards the CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) and work experience.

Applicants will be 18+, unemployed with a keen interest in construction.

Those who complete the course will be guaranteed an interview, and if successful will be offered employment with Caledonian.

Applicants should email their CV to [email protected] marked Caledonian PET.
