Saturday 18th January

Burns Night Supper Dance

A meal of haggis, neeps and tatties. Followed by A toast to The Immortal Memory Ceilidh dancing and simple Scottish Country Dancing (all dances called – no experience necessary) Licensed bar, black tie optional. This event is suitable for all ages. Advanced booking is required.

Music Concert: Dvorak & Tchaikovsky

The North East Wales Sinfonia presents Dvorak and Tchaikovsky at St Giles Church, Wrexham. Young professional musicians return to their home town to perform Dvorak – Cello Concerto in B minor and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No 5. The Soloist is Zofia Lodygowska and the Conductor is local guy Robert Guy.

Monday 20th January

WCBC Tenants Service Improvement Group (Housing Responsive Repairs)

This event offers Wrexham Council who are interested in the opportunity to influence Housing Policy and monitor service performance can attend Service Improvement Groupos (SIGs) looking at all Core Housing Services. To develop Service Standards To Monitor performance against standards.

Module 2 – Sizing Up The Market

This module takes you through the market research process, helps you identify the questions you need answers to, explains where to get information and which techniques to use, and shows you how to use your findings to make better decisions.

Thursday 23rd January

WCBC Tenants Service Improvement Group (Mystery Shoppers/ Tenant Inspectors)

Wrexham Council tenants wanting the opportunity to monitor the Housing service performance can attend Service Improvement Groups (SIGs) looking at all Core Housing Services. Mystery Shoppers monitor performance against agreed WCBC standards and report performance to WCBC via the SIGs. Full training provided

Friday 24th January

Tots Time

Tots Time is a hands-on creative session for grown-ups and their babies or toddlers, aged from 0-3 years. Two children per adult. Booking essential through Wrexham Museum.
