Warning issued after “high number of reports” of thefts from vehicles in Wrexham

Motorists are being urged to make sure their vehicles are locked and secure after a series of break-ins.

North Wales Police says it has received a “high number of reports” of theft from motor vehicles around the rural areas of Wrexham.

Sergeant Grimes-Williams of the Managed Response Unit, said numerous vans had been broken into overnight and high value power tools and generators had been stolen.

Sgt Grimes-Williams, added: “Please ensure your vehicles are locked and secure overnight and report any suspicious activity in the area.
