Warning after doorstep scammer claiming to sell “COVID-19 vaccine” targets Wrexham households

Residents across Wrexham are being warned of a door to door scammer claiming to sell “COVID-19 vaccines.”

Police say they have received reports of a male targeting properties in the Bertie Road area of town asking for £70 for a vaccine.

In a tweet, police said: “There is no such thing. Be alert and don’t buy anything on the doorstep.

“Visit Friends against scams website to learn how to protect yourself and others.”
