Wales Comic Con Returning To Wrexham (Early Bird Tickets SOLD Out)

One of Wrexham’s most popular events is set to return this year, with Wales Comic Con bringing some of the biggest names in film and television to the town.

On April 26th the ever popular Wales Comic Con will return to Glyndwr University for its first event of 2015.

Last year’s Comic Con events saw thousands of fans from across the world descend on Wrexham to take part in two days of cosplay, sci-fi and guest Q&A sessions. In recent years Wales Comic Con has grown in both size and popularity, with fans from America, Russia and Japan all visiting Wrexham for the event.

Wales Comic Con, which is held across various parts of the Glyndwr University campus, will this year play host to a wealth of famous faces from the world of film, television and wrestling take part in the event.

Guest announcements for this year’s event have already begun, with Hannah Spearritt (S Club and Primeval), Ben Miller (Death in Paradise), Chris Barrie (Red Dwarf) and Dean Andrews (Life on Mars) among the billing.

Stars from BBC’s Atlantis, Star Wars, Game of Thrones and the world of wrestling will also be in attendance. Over the next few weeks further details of guests will be revealed, so keep an eye on the Wales Comic Con Facebook and Twitter pages for more information!

Along with guests there will also be a number of Q&A sessions taking place throughout the day, stalls and vendors selling unique items, cosplay and the chance to meet some of your favourite stars.
