One of the biggest events in Wrexham is set to make its return later this year, with tickets for Wales Comic Con being released to the public.

It’s been little over a month since thousands of comic con lovers attended the first event of the year back in April, however tickets have today been released ahead of the next event on November 29th 2015.

This year will be the second time Wales Comic Con has held two events in the same year and announcements for the event have already begun, with Sylvester McCoy (Doctor Who and The Hobbit), Larry Kenney (Thundercats), John Bell (The Hobbit) and Ian McElhinney (Game of Thrones) already confirmed for the November event.

What started as a small convention in the Glyndwr Sports Centre has quickly evolved into an event that spans across the University – attracting fans from all over the world. Previously Wales Comic Con has held one event a year, generally in early Spring – however last year saw the launch of Wales Comic Con Part Two.

In November 2014 thousands of fans visited Glyndwr University to take part in Question and Answer sessions with some of star guests, watch live wrestling matches and visit a pop up comic book store. Wales Comic Con Part Two also saw some of the biggest names so far attend the event, including Mark Sheppard (Supernatural) Alan Fletcher (Neighbours) Mark Addy (Game of Thrones) Shane Richie & Jessie Wallace (Eastenders) and Peter Davison (Doctor Who).

Full details of what to expect at this year’s Wales Comic Con have yet to be released, however you can keep up to date with news of the event on the Wales Comic Con Facebook or by following @walescomiccon on Twitter.

Tickets for Wales Comic Con went on sale at midday this afternoon – General Entry and Early Bird tickets for the event can be purchased here.
