Voodoo Moon Bar To Host Cocktail Competition

On Monday 6th May 2013 at 5pm, Voodoo Moon bar will host its inaugural cocktail competition in association with Hunters Premium Cheshire Gin.

Bartenders from some of the North West and North Wales’ premium cocktail bars will be competing against each other.

Amongst those invited are ‘The Bank Bar’ and ‘Voodoo Moon’ in Wrexham, ‘The Albert Lounge & Bar’ in Shrewsbury, ‘The Cock o Barton’, ‘Upstairs at The Grill’ and ‘Bar Lounge’ in Chester, ‘Cloud 23 at The Hilton’ Manchester, and more.

Jules Van-Dyke, Head Bartender/Trainer at Voodoo Moon said:“Everyone at Voodoo Moon is very excited about having the opportunity to host the first professional bartending competition of its kind in Wrexham”

The competition is based on one classic and one contemporary entry from each bartender and contestants will be using Hunters Premium Cheshire Gin. There will be marks awarded for taste, appearance, quality, presentation and creativity. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

During the event there will also be offers on specially crafted Hunters Gin cocktails, as well as a live DJ throughout the night.
