Village Bakery Sells Retail Shops To Family Craft Bakers

The Village Bakery Wrexham, Coedpoeth has sold all five of its retail shops to family craft bakers, Chatwins of Nantwich.

The announcment was made this morning on the Village Bakery’s Facebook page and Twitter.

Earlier this month it was announced that the Village Bakery had won the Fastest Growing 50 in Wales 2013.

Chatwins of Nantwich was established in 1913 as is known for a wide range of award-winning bakery goods which are supplied to a growing market. It also specialises in wedding cakes, buffets and baking.

In a statement on the Village Bakery’s Facebook page, the bakery says: “This decision was taken so that the Village Bakery can focus on its three bakeries in Coedpoeth and Wrexham after a year of spectacular expansion.”
