Videos: Tŷ Pawb holds formal opening – ‘now we have a centre that is worthy of our talent’
After several speeches from various dignitaries the curtain was pulled open on Tŷ Pawb this afternoon for the formal opening ceremony.
Monday sees the Grand Opening event with a ribbon cut after a parade and party, however earlier today the great and the good had an event to celebrate the new multi million pound centre opening – with those present keen to point out it was delivered on time as promised.

The big opening event is on Monday – with the programme below…
An outdoor stage will be set up on the southern end of Chester Street, with the programme reading:
2.30pm – Delta Academy Choir
3.30pm – Black Park Accordion Club
4.30pm – Band Pres Llareggub Brass Band
5.30pm – Wrexham Community Choir
6.30pm – Baby Brave
7.30pm – The Big Beat
8.15pm – Grand Finale with Fireworks!
Inside the newly opened Tŷ Pawb the programme is:
12pm – 5pm – Children’s Play Area with Play Day. Playday is the UK wide celebration of Children’s Right to Play. Help us create one big and very playful environment. This event offers something for everyone who enjoys playing including the chance to get wet and messy!
6pm New Sinfonia Orchestra
3pm and 4pm – Delta Academy Juniors 5pm and 6pm – Popstarz Academy
6pm – Guided Tour of Ty^ Pawb. As well as performances throughout the building throughout the day.
