DCI Simon Williams from Wrexham CID has directly addressed the people of Wrexham this afternoon to offer reassurance and explain what action is being taken following the recent spate of armed robberies.
The message comes as a result of nine robberies at convenience stores and takeaways across Wrexham since the start of the month.
