It’s the end of an era for Wrexham’s largest indoor market, which over the next 12 months will undergo a £5m refurbishment / conversion into an arts and market space.

The main market hall of the People’s Market closed its doors on Friday, with the last few traders finishing off their move to a new and temporary location.

Below is a video shot by ourselves and our friends at Wrexham TV on Friday 6 January 2017 – the final day of the main hall space at the People’s Market.

You can read our coverage of where traders can be found in their new / temporary locations here.

Don’t forget the ‘South Mall’ of the People’s Market and its traders are open for businesses throughout the duration of the Arts Hub development!
