Two vehicles have been destroyed following an arson attack in Wrexham earlier this morning.

Fire crews were called to reports of a car fire on Kingsmills Road at around 1:41am this morning. Two vehicles were involved in the incident and it is believed that the fire spread from one car to the other.

One pump from Wrexham attended the incident and two hose reels and one breathing apparatus were used to extinguish the blaze.

The cause of the fire is being treated as deliberate ignition.

We took the above pictures earlier this morning, and the cars appeared to be a Vauxhall Astra and a BMW 3 series.
