Vehicle Destroyed in Car Arson May Have Been Linked to Burglary at Rhostyllen Pharmacy

Police investigating a car arson in Caia Park last night believe it may be linked to a burglary at a pharmacy in Rhostyllen on Monday, but are awaiting the results of a more detailed examination.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to vehicle arson at The Dunks, Caia Park shortly after 6:30pm last night.

One crew from Wrexham attended the incident which involved a Peugeot 206.

The vehicle was destroyed in the arson attack.

DCI Neil Harrison said; “Anyone with information about the burglary, which occurred in Trinity Close, Rhostyllen at 11.30pm on Monday February 13, should call police on 101 quoting reference VO21042 and with information about the arson please quote reference V021407.”
