Vehicle collides with bridge – warning of train delays throughout afternoon

Train users travelling between Wrexham and Bidston are being warned of potential delays after a vehicle crashed into a bridge.

The incident took place at a bridge in Penyffordd after 1pm this afternoon.

As a result train users are being warned that services operating between Wrexham Central and Bidston could be cancelled and delayed – with Arriva Trains Wales estimated that disruption may last until 3pm.
