A van has this morning crashed into a bus stop near the Acton Pub in Wrexham.

North Wales Police were called to Chester Road, opposite Acton Gate at 9:14am following reports that a van had driven into a bus stop.

There were no injuries as a result of the collision and no other vehicles were involved.

There are some minor delays in the area as a result of the collision.

The van also appeared to hit the nearby bollards in the centre of the road, and when we visited the scene Wrexham Council were making the area safe.

A spokesperson for Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed they were not called to the scene.
