The garage is situated on the right hand side of Brook St.

Around 7pm this evening police were called to Brook Street after a van driver lost control and collided with the Jack Wilkinsons Yale Garage shop.

The van, described as a “flatbed pickup truck style vehicle” apparently drove down the hill from Pentrefelin , and some how lost control and ended up carrying straight on into the garage.

People close by reported the driver mentioned he was feeling unwell, and an ambulance did attend however the driver was not taken to hospital. @Wrexham follower on twitter Joanne Guy (@joannelouguy) mentioned seeing a man sat on the ground after the collision, but she mentioned he didnt appear hurt.

A bystander told Wrexham.com that they believed ‘the impact must have been quite low speed as there was only a crack on the windscreen, but the metal rollers on the garage were dented’.
