One of Wrexham’s largest car parks has reopened after technical issues resulted in a temporary closure yesterday.

The multi-storey car park in Tŷ Pawb had been closed due to technical issues, with visitors advised to park elsewhere.

The issue had affected the barrier and ticket system at former Peoples Market car park throughout yesterday.

A spokesperson for Wrexham Council has confirmed the car park is open as normal today with no issues.

The spokesperson said: “Yesterday’s problem with the barrier was caused by a networking / communication issue, which was resolved for us by the supplier.”
