The A483 towards Ruabon was partially blocked this evening following a two vehicle road traffic collision.

Emergency services were called to the A539 J1 (Ruabon) and A5 (Halton Roundabout) following reports of a two vehicle collision.

It is believed an emergency response vehicle and ambulance have been sent to the scene and that police are diverting traffic away from the area.

Earlier this evening the A483 towards the Posthouse Roundabout was also hit with a broken down vehicle, resulting in the closure of one lane while recovery work took place.

All lanes have since reopened and the broken down vehicle has been removed.
