Three Injured Following Brymbo Link Road Collision (Updated)

A male is in a ‘critical condition’ following a collision in Wrexham last night which left three injured.

Emergency services attended the collision with number of people contacted Wrexham.com reporting the incident on the Brymbo Link Road, which resulted in the closure of Heritage Way.

Both North Wales Police and the Welsh Ambulance Service attended the incident, with reports the fire service were also required.

Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Wrexham last night.

At 9:45pm North Wales Police received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Heritage Way in Tan y Fron, Wrexham involving a Black Ford Fiesta and a Blue Audi.

The road was immediately closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.

Three people were taken to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital by ambulance.

The passenger of the Fiesta has since been transferred to hospital in Stoke with serious injuries and he is described as being in a critical condition.

The driver of the Fiesta remains at the Maelor with serious injuries.

The driver of the Audi sustained minor injuries.

Police are appealing for anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or to anybody who may have seen either vehicle prior to the collision to contact officers at the Roads Policing Unit quoting reference S181313.
