Firecrews attended two fires in town throughout the evening and overnight, one in Rhosddu and another by Central Retail Park.

The fire service attended commercial premises on the industrial estate in Rhosddu just before 1am.

Bob sent us the above picture of the Rhosddu fire in the early hours of this morning.

Last night at around 6pm fire crews were also called to a fire by Mold Road, where smoke was seen by the path between Harveys the furniture store and Dunelm mill on Central Retail Park.

Emergency services were on scene which involved one fire engine and 3 police cars.

Trains were temporary suspended as the smoke engulfed the nearby tracks.

All shops closed their doors as the smoke filled the car park and the shops.
