Two cars in Wrexham were set on fire overnight.

The first incident took place at Connor Crescent at 9:58pm last night, resulting in 50% fire damage to the vehicle.

One crew from Wrexham was set to extinguish the blaze.

A second incident took place in the early hours of the morning, with North Wales Fire and Rescue Service called to a car fire on Queensway at 4:42am.

The fire itself was out on arrival and a number plate was left damaged as a result of the incident.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service have said both incidents are believed to have been caused by deliberate ignition.
