Train Delays After ‘Vehicle Collides With Bridge’

There are currently severe delays for passengers travelling between Wrexham and Bidston this afternoon after a ‘vehicle collided with a bridge’.

Passengers travelling between Wrexham Central and Bidston are being advised of the delays after a vehicle collided with a bridge in Shotton.

As a result of the incident train is being delayed between Hope/Penyffordd and the service will be started from Wrexham General.

A bus has been sourced to convey passengers from Penyffordd, stations to Wrexham, however additional road transport is being sourced but there is limited availability due to school bus bookings.
