Town’s Christmas Tree Goes Up!

Throughout the day the town’s Christmas tree has been erected in Queens Square. This years tree is sponsored by Allington Hughes solicitors on Grosvenor Road, and appears to be a Nordmann Fir.

On Thursday the town’s Christmas Lights are being switched on with the full event starting at just after 5pm with the lights and fireworks being turn on just after half six.

Rugby superstar Gareth Thomas is turning on the lights, alongside one lucky Wrexhamite. The competition to win this chance is open until 5pm tomorrow (Wednesday) – details are below if you have not yet entered!

To be in with a chance To Turn On Wrexham’s Lights all you need is a mobile phone and a correct answer. Entrants simply have to answer the following question correctly:

Where is the event taking place?
A) Queen’s Square, Wrexham
B) Kings Square, Wrexham
C) Wenceslas Square, Prague

Texts cost £1.00 + 1 std text msg per entry. You will get a text back confirming if you have the right or wrong answer – and you can enter several times to increase your chances of winning.

Entry Terms & Information:
The winner will be randomly drawn and announced on Wednesday 21st November. The winner will be contacted at 5pm on the 21st. If we are not able to contact the first drawn correct answer inside a reasonable timeframe we will re-draw until it is possible.
