Promotion chasing Wrexham football club have a huge game this Saturday, which is heading to be a sell out.

Earlier today the club said: “We can confirm that ticket sales have now surpassed 7,200 for Saturday’s fixture at My Racecourse against local rivals Tranmere Rovers.”

The fixture is an all ticket affair, with no cash sales on the turnstile, so if you are wanting to be part of the greatest atmosphere at the Racecourse this reason you need to buy your ticket Wednesday, Thursday or Friday – with some tickets possibly being on sale on Saturday if it is not sold out by then.

You can buy tickets online in advance and print them off, and tickets can also be purchased from the club shop.

Be aware that turnstiles will open at the earlier time of 1.30pm on Saturday afternoon to ensure everyone can enter the stadium in good time.

The Hays Travel Stand (Mold Road) has now sold-out, but there are blocks currently on-sale in the Bkconcepts Stand with seats available to purchase.

It is thought the fixture will be a sell out, with Tranmere selling their entire 1,800 allocation.

Town is benefiting from the influx of fans looking for a spot of food before or after the game, with the Fat Boar mentioning on twitter they had 44 bookings for a pre-match burger deal already.

Wrexham are currently 4th in the league on 51 points and a game in hand on the three teams ahead of them – winning the game in hand would put the reds second just a point off top.

Tranmere are 5th on 50 pts, and have played one game more.
