Update: Thanks to Marc who has just told us roads have reopened in town and all appears to have been resolved safely after an earlier incident on top of the Peoples Market carpark.

CI Mark Armstrong from North Wales Police said the incident was ‘brought to swift successful conclusion by officers’ and thanked people for their patience.

Original information below:

The area to the north of the Peoples Market is closed off by police this evening as they attend to an incident.

Parts of Chester Street, Holt Street and Lambpit Street are closed with police ensuring people are kept away from the northern point of the Peoples Market.

Police have been attending the incident, believed to be regarding concerns for an individuals safety, since around 7pm.
