Three people have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision just off the Gresford Roundabout yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 3:12pm yesterday following reports of a two vehicle RTC on Chester Road, between The Beeches restaurant and Gresford Roundabout.

The incident resulted in the temporary closure of the road, with traffic diverted away from the area.

A spokesperson for North Wales Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 3.12pm yesterday, Sunday 26 July, to a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Chester Road in Gresford.

“We sent a rapid response car and two emergency ambulances to the scene, and three people – one man and two women – were taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.”

The extent of injuries that were sustained in the collision is not yet known.
