Three arrested following robbery at town centre O2 store

Three men wanted on suspicion of robbery in Wrexham this afternoon have been arrested.

Police were called at 1.22pm today after three men entered the O2 store in Regent Street Wrexham and stole a large quantity of phones before making off in a VW Passat.

DS Paul Kelly of North Wales Police said: “The suspects vehicle was stopped in Warrington by Cheshire Police this afternoon and three men arrested.

“They will be transferred to Wrexham for questioning in due course.”

Witnesses or anyone with phone or dash-cam footage which may help the investigation, is asked to call North Wales Police on 101, quoting reference W066453.
