Update 8:20am: A man has been taken to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital following a collision on Ruthin Road at around 4am this morning.

The road has since reopened, having been closed for around four hours.

While Dawn tweeted to say: “A525 Bends from Coedpoeth to Wrexham closed with lorrys struggling as the two routes from the closure are difficult for vehicles that size.”

Latest travel report for the area states:

‘Road closed due to accident investigation work on A525 both ways between New Road and Strytybydden. The accident involved one vehicle which had overturned around 04:00. The road expected to be closed for sometime.’
