The towpath at the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct will be partially closed for three days next week.

Between 9am and 1pm on Wednesday 9 to Friday 11 December the towpath will be closed while inspection works take place.

The Canal and River Trust say that the survey works on the aqueduct will be undertaken whilst maintaining safe working distance.

The towpath will be closed to avoid access difficulties due to the survey equipment on the towpath. Please bear with us when we carry out the survey.

The towpath will reopen at 1pm each day.

The navigation will not be affected and will remain open throughout.
