The public are being advised of temporary closures to Mold Road tomorrow afternoon to coincide with the Wrexham v Chester ‘Bubble Match’.

As with previous Wrexham and Chester matches in recent years, tomorrow’s game is ‘Safe Transport / Bubble Match’ – meaning that Chester fans will once again be transported in and out of the town on coaches with police escorts.

Wrexham fans attending the match are being advised to ‘allow plenty of time to enter the ground’, with searches due to take place for ‘crowd safety’.

Kick off is at 12:15pm, so as usual expect a few delays and a temporary road closure while the convoy of Chester fans travel over the border to Wrexham.

Mold Road will also be temporarily closed between 1:50pm and 2:20pm while coaches and home supporters leave the ground.

The following tweets have also been issued to North Wales Police prior to tomorrow’s match.

Earlier this week Wrexham.com reported on our FOI results on Merseyside Police’s review into the ‘Bubble’ tactics deployed by North Wales and Cheshire police.
