Police have said information from the local community has led to a successful drugs warrant in Wrexham yesterday, July 10.

Officers searched an address in Clos Owen, Whitegate and recovered a significant amount of Class A and B drugs as well as a large quantity of cash.

DS Paul Kelly said;

“Following complaints by members of the community in the area about blatant daytime drug dealing, local officers executed a search warrant yesterday afternoon.

“An 18 year old man was arrested for being concerned in the supply of Class A and B drugs and has since been released under investigation.

“I would like to thank the local residents of Whitegate and Caia Park for their support and patience. Drug dealing is unacceptable at any time, but even more so when it is made so obvious to passing members of the public throughout the day.”
