A new retro style American candy store has opened its doors in the town centre bringing us jelly beans, millions, rainbow dust and much more .

Sweets n Treets has opened on Trinity Street, just off the corner of Lord street next to the Co-Op store by the bus station.

Jennifer Bush told us, “It is a family business run by my dad, it is a dream of his to own a traditional sweet shop and this year he’s had the opportunity to open one.

“He decided on Wrexham as they didn’t have a traditional/old fashioned sweet shop. The shop sells all the old style sweets, American candy and a range of children’s sweets.”

Jennifer added, “We have a range of over 150 jars of retro sweets. The response so far has been fantastic and everybody says they are glad a traditional sweet shop has opened.”

Sweets n Treets also offer local ‘Chilly Cow’ ice cream for when the weather returns (hopefully) to its recent warmth!
