There have been reports overnight of yet another suspected arson in Gwersyllt.

Last night’s fire is believed to have taken place by Third Avenue, around 300 meters away from where previous fires have occurred over the last couple of weeks.

A local resident told Wrexham.com that they had seen the fire service on Third Avenue attending the incident, while another added that ‘thankfully no one has been hurt’.

Local resident Kate tweeted us to say: “Are we ever going to be safe?!.”

A spokesperson for North Wales Fire & Rescue Service told Wrexham.com that they attended an incident in Gwersyllt after receiving a call at 9:27pm last night.

One pump from Wrexham attended the scene and one hose reel was used to extinguish the blaze.

The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
