This morning a parade and associated events were held to mark St David’s Day in Wrexham town centre.

When Wrexham.com popped down today the town centre was quiet but with bright blue skies, with crowds including the Mayor (pictured above) forming a parade just before 11am from outside the Guildhall.

The parade weaved its way around the town centre, although due to the 1st falling on a Sunday this year many shops were not open and there were less people around with a marked contrast to last year.
