One of Wrexham’s most popular annual events is returning to Wrexham this summer – with an evening of live music and fireworks
Now a key staple in Wrexham’s event calendar, Underneath the Arches attracts thousands of people from the county and further afield to the popular event.
Organised by the Wrexham Council events team, the popular event at the foot of Pontcysyllte Aqueduct – Wrexham’s own World Heritage Site – will return on Friday 20th July.
Each year thousands of people gather at the World Heritage Site for a summer evening of live music, entertainment, fireworks and of course the lighting up of the aqueduct.
There’s also fairground rides for children and plenty of refreshments.
In July 2017 more than 3,000 attended the event; which was also recently named the best event in North Wales at the Visit Wales national tourism awards. It was also crowned the second best in the whole of Wales (second only to last year’s Champions’ League final at the Millennium Stadium).
Tickets for this year’s concert are now on sale. You can find out more information on the event and how to get tickets on the Underneath the Arches Facebook page.
