Some lines blocked due to broken down train at Wrexham General

Arriva have said there services are being affected after a train broke down at Wrexham General station this morning.

Due to a broken down train at Wrexham General some lines are blocked, meaning delays of up to an hour.

Disruption is expected until 10:30am midday at the earliest.

The Chester / Wrexham / Shrewsbury route is affected along with the 0533 Holyhead to Cardiff Central.

Road transport has been arranged with Pats Coaches to cover Chester and Wrexham trips, plus all stations to Shrewsbury.
