Snake Found In Engine Of Car

A snake has this afternoon been found in the engine of of a car.

At around 2:15 this after, PCSO Simon Griffiths tweeted asking if anyone has lost a snake in the Wrexham area. The snake was initially seen on Park Avenue in Acton.

The 4ft snake was later found in the engine of a car outside the Laurels on Rhosnesni Lane.

The photos below were later tweeted by PCSO Simon Griffiths and show two officers helping the snake out of the engine bay, before another photo was tweeted once the snake had been freed.

The snake itself it red and yellow in colour, and is believed to be a corn snake.

The snake has since been sent to the North Wales Reptile Rescue Centre in Ruthin. If you recognise the snake, you are advised to get in touch with the centre.
