A former village pub could soon be converted into apartments.

In an application submitted to Wrexham Council it has been proposed that the Horse and Jockey public house on Chapel Street, Ponciau, into six apartments.

If approved the building would become home to three two bedroom apartments, two studio flats and a one bedroom apartment.

Two of these apartments and the two studio flats would be located on the ground floor, with the remaining two apartments on the first floor.

The building has been vacant since its closure in April 2017.

The application will be considered for approval at a later date.
