Wrexham Council has said they are “working with local bus operators to retain and improve some key links on the local bus network”.

The new services come into effect on 2nd September and include the ‘Shoppa Hoppa’ finally being taken out of service – you can read more about the service and why it was scrapped here.

D Jones and Son’s service 16, Tanyfron to Wrexham town centre has been rerouted to take in Croesnewydd Road and Ruthin Road, providing a bus link to the Western Gateway for the first time.

D Jones and Son are running service 13B which will run to and from Wrexham Industrial Estate at key work start and finish times and there will also be some additional journeys throughout the day.

Pat’s Coaches Town Link service will include Wrexham General rail station and High Street to replace the Shoppa 101 service.

Timetables are available from the Wrexham bus station and the Tourist Information Centre. They are also available online at this page on www.wrexham.gov.uk.
