A dispersal order has been enforced in the Brynteg area this weekend following a series of incidents overnight.

Details released by NWP Wrexham Rural this afternoon state that the order will be in place with immediate effect in the areas highlighted in red in the image above.

Police say this is due to incidents last night at the Library and at Darby Road in Brynteg.

The dispersal orders allow police to target behaviour from groups or individuals and move them on and away from a particular area if required.

It will will expire on Monday November 27th 2017 at 12:44.

An similar order was enforced in the same areas earlier this month, with police stating it was in an attempt to help deal with an increase antisocial behaviour.
